Welcome to St Mary's Parish Website. Here you'll find all the latest news, service times and events from our parish. St Mary's is a welcoming church with a strong Anglo-Catholic tradition. We are rooted in our parish and share the gospel through our witness, service and interaction with our people. Below are the mass times. Church is open most days, except Mondays, please do come and spend some time in our beautiful place of prayer and worship. We very much look forward to meeting you. Light Warm Transform - Update
The LWT project design phase has been completed and our project is out to tender. Two tenders (one mainly electrical one mainly building work) have been released by our Architect to ten contractors to quote. We are delighted with the design.
The work will be disruptive and the church will have to be closed for several weeks. But once completed it will really benefit our congregation, enhance our mission in the parish, improve our environmental credentials, reduce our running costs and maximise the use of our beautiful church.
The Fabric team has done a great job guiding the project so far that we can apply for “Faculty” from our Diocese. When we have selected our preferred contractor/s and been given approval from our Diocese we’ll be ready to go, well apart from the small issue of funding which, when in place, will enable a firm time plan to be arranged.
